It's over.

Im so glad.

X-stigma finals ended yesterday. Well, i never thought we could even passed the first round, so im still glad that we at least won a merit award. The finals was freaking scary u noe, its the first time i had to make a presentation to the public! And mr lau said i was too flamboyant. If i interpreted the word correctly, im too jumpy i supposed. Gah, prepare for OP!

I think the public like our videos =) caroline can win the best actress award liao! the uncle say she looks like a mental patient in the video! What a success! WAHAHA!

Anyway, gratz to the winning teams. I supposed mr lau's right. Frankly, we started this project purely for fun, and never had the right intention in mind. Plagued with so many distractions, we set off on our proposal. For a moment, we even considered giving up and not submitting our entry. But still,

it was a surprise that we got into the 2nd round. I supposed no other teams from hwachong participated. So now we had to carry out our fanciful ideas in our proposal. Which is much too fanciful. Our imagined exhibition materialized in the form of a few movable boards and a player repeating a same old video; our documentary became a short act and a blank screen; our video comp was rather pathetic. Our presentation was totally a flunk-ed.

And we got into the finals, miracle. Since its the last round, we of course decided to chiong. For the 2nd round, we had hoped that we wont get in, coz it clashes with our promos mugging. Ah well, we tried our best. Our exhibition at NLB was kinda nice i thought, and our videos were kinda popular. But i think wad had caused our downfall is probably the marks brought over from the 2nd round and our presentation, as our content was much too HONEST. Heh sorry team, i literally shot down the team with wad i prepared in the ppt. Of course, we do not have fanciful attractions in our ppt or exhibition. Caroline tried her best pulling votes la, though i dare not join her, partly coz im too shy, and i dun really like doing that (if not i would have appealed to get the whole school down, like some other teams). I do like the NUS's proposal (other than the fact that they got so many NUS ppl voting them), and RIJC's campaign (though they oso got their frens down to vote). Haiz. We got NO hc ppl down AT ALL. What a shame.

Cheer on, One-Fifth, we had done our best!

juz a sidenote, i saw things that really pissed me off on that day on the journey home:
some man who refused to move into the bus,
ppl who shouted and pointed rude gestures at the bus for not letting them get on
ppl shouting outside angrily

come on la, i noe u all want to get onto the bus, i experienced it b4. But cannot squeeze is cannot squeeze liao, guailan for wad? wan blame, blame that person who refused to move in and make us squeeze past him.
