What the teacher said today struck me the most is that certain fact.

Out there, there are crowds and crowds of straight A1s students waiting and appealing to enter Hwa Chong Junior College, and the whole group of us, amounting to nearly a thousand, got a direct ticket 4 years ago into this tertiary institution.

4 years, as my dad says, anything can happen. A top scholar who entered IP can slack so much he nearly cant make it for promotion; A bad student can work hard in secondary school to get results that rival top students in top school.

And who get into the prestigious school? The early mugger and late slacker.

As time goes by, i realised a certain policy for education will definitely fail.

Certain people who get a MSG of 4 or 5 make it to JC, while ppl like me mug so hard for EOYs in order to not get retained, and finally got a satisfactory result, but yet got the same treatment. Fairness?

Orientation is boring today. You know why? Coz i spent the majority of the hours either in the auditorium listening to crap lectures about programmes and subjects, or doing the super creepy, murdering easy smtp math selection test.

Ok im sleepy now. But i need to stay past midnight to pray tonight/tomorrow morning.

Campus Superstar is screwed k. I can see conflicts sooner or later. A certain conflict.
