An article i read, "Korean guy died of hunger in home".
The world is simply unfair.
When we are here, wasting food, arguing and complaining about eating certain food, people are dying at THEIR OWN HOME with no food to eat. The article also reported that the guy wrote in his diary even in his dream he dreamt of eating a bowl of rice.
How many of us here is pulling a long face because your mums or maids got no time to whip up any delicacies, and telling you to finish your own rice first?
Much said, even if we dont waste food here, there is no way we can help dying people in Korea.
We cant even help people right here in our homeland.
We see people rushing for free food at charity organisations, at temples during special occasions, and at community centres. How many of these people are really in need of the meagre amount of food available for charity? And how many people who are really in need actually get the grain of rice?
People who are dying of hunger, they never got the strength to step out of their house to get food. Much less going so far to get the bowl of soup. And yet, no body actually bothers to help them. We see shows on TV channels showing celebrities and grassroot leaders visiting poverished people and giving them free cleaning, free food, etc.
Do they really need the help?=================================
