During Term One, i just returned from the one month immersion at Beijing, fresh and happy, back in Singapore, in Hwa Chong, and in the brand new 4J. Life then was quite ok, and i did quite well for my Term One tests, other than Chinese, which was far from my expectations. Having been real satisfied with my Chinese standard since primary school, and getting an exemption for the subject during Sec 2, i got a pretty rude shock. This, i guess, is the turning point of my secondary school life.
After the eventful first semester, i got back my Term Two results. Got a MSG of 4.33, almost failing english, mathematics, chemistry. Many said i can pick up from where i fell. But, this is the greatest fall i ever had. Till now, my idea of a good life consists of a good result. This MSG, resulting in me into the remedial class, was one of the worst experience. Mr Hon asked to see my parents. Many other problems arised, such as using too much computers and spending too much time on ACE, CIP, NPCC and project work.
After the mediacorp attachment during the holidays, i returned back to school, with a new goal: To get into JC, nothing else. I managed a great feat: quitting computer games. Term Three doesnt really turn out well despite my mugging, getting an MSG of 2.89, well away from the class average, and my goal.
In Term Four, i really, really, mugged. I can swear. I never play WoW or DotA or any games during this period. I went out to mug weekly. Stayed in school or KAP. I guess my parents were pretty worried. But too bad. Results is everything now. Its now or never.

Though i must say this is through moderation (and heavy moderation it seems), im happy that my efforts paid off.

Jiahao, Xueyan, for always owning me in every game we played, be it Maplestory or Warcraft;
Yuhui, for the Khaenakar(?) spirit we shared when we bully people like akilan and alfred during sec 2, and my ever competitor then;
Teckseng, Bufan, Jereld, Philemon, Yongquan, Thomson, Justin, Hanxin and other 2I peeps, for letting me experience what a class is;
Kevin toh, xining, ryan, preston, wenwei, shengjie and the poser gang, for bringing me out into the world;
Zhexuan, Jieqi, Kahyi, Chongwei, Taylor, Terence and other NPCC mates, for the 4 years of enjoyment and hardships we spent together as a squad, including the pon-nings of trainings and breaking rules together =),
Xinyu and Fiona, for showing me how NY muggers are=) and of course the either very random or inspirational conversations we had;
Shimin, for bringing me to Orchard Road for the first time of my life (well, first time there without parents);
